Hi,
Please forgive me as im really new to this, I am a bass player pretending to be a sound and light technician, hahaha - I can only mange 4 strings as the best of times.
My band uses backing tracks, I am planning to DMX all of my lighting show to the backing track.
I have managed to work out how to programme the lights and create a show using my backing track to sync the lights.
In the virtual console I have then made buttons to trigger the shows, this will then be done on a Midi pad.
The problem I have is that I need to be able to trigger a show before the first one has finised, Mainly because there is an inear audio cue and click count to the next track.
The issue I have had, Is that the first how is still playing, the second has started, once the first show has finished it is terminating all of the running shows, is there a way of stopping this ?
Sorry for the long question, I hope you can help :)

We are atalking about the QLC+ feature called 'show' right?
You could omit to start a new show (for the click track) using a chaser and playing a sound file... but when this sound file end, you will have to start a new show and there's where problems arise. If you start a show from within a chaser, the step in the chaser will have to run as long as the show lasts. And then it starts all over again (new click track, ...)

I think you will have to be creative with this one.
(And I'm afraid that chasing from the click-track to the show, there might be sync issues...)

2nd read: you might start a scene through loopback universe, triggering another scene, playing the click-track from within your N#1 show. The same goes when show #1 ends, it triggers show #2 by loopback universe.
