Hello,
I seem to be having an issue with QLC 4.12.3 on my mac (11.3 Big Sur)
At one point I had this working, but for some reason, now I cannot seem get QLC to receive MIDI Input from my Maschine device in MIDI mode. I was previously using this setup to use the Maschine's pads as triggers to start/stop different scenes or chasers.
But now, I can't get the MIDI input joystick to light up at all- the input isn't received in QLC. Using the application MIDI Monitor, I can see that macOS is receiving the MIDI input as I hit the pads on my Maschine. I can also use my Maschine just fine with the Maschine software or a DAW like Logic. It is QLC specifically that is having trouble.
I have also been using Traktor software to send a MIDI clock beat. That has been working for me in QLC- that input goes over mac's IAC bus, and the little joystick icon will light up in sync with the beat coming out of Traktor software.
Why would QLC suddenly be unable to receive MIDI input from my Maschine?
Is there any way to "reset" all midi devices that QLC sees, or any other tricks I could try to get this MIDI input to work?
I've tried numerous system restarts, fresh empty QLC projects, or my own existing QLC projects, but no matter what I seem to be stuck- this specific input can't be received.
Here is a video where I show MIDI Monitor reporting the MIDI events as I tap the pads on my Maschine. It indicates MIDI notes are being sent on Maschine MK2's Virtual Input. But even with that same input selected in QLC, no joystick is lighting up on that Universe channel- the input doesn't seem to be received.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

After deleting the configuration file, running the terminal command to reload the preferences file, and a system reboot just to be sure, my issue is resolved. I am now receiving MIDI input from my Maschine MK2.mcallegari wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 10:42 am Try to manually delete the configuration file
