Create a scene with LED stripe without function

Hello everybody,

I'm using QLC+ and accessing my LED stripe via Art-Net and a 24channel RGB controller.
A test with the virtual console was successfull. All colors (RGBW) can be lighted with the faders on channel 1-4 on universe 1.

As a next step I want to create a simple scene (e.g. light up only red).
I change to the functions and add a new scene. Add my generic grbw fixture and activate the red channel. Then I raise up the red fader but the stripe stays off.

I think this is because of the strip has no dimmer, or do I miss something.
Any help is appreciated.

Before starting setting scenes... Make sure that all faders are disabled in Simple Desk (red cross below the fader does indicate otherwise - so no red 'X')
Then, please try to set a look inside a scene... it should immediately show you the outcome of the set values...
