I am trying for a while to send some MIDI notes from my mixer (DJM2000nxs) to QLC.
I have not succeed.

The issue is that the mixer is passively transmitting the BPM info as midi clock, so when press from QLC to Auto-Detect a button from the mixer, the clock is assigned immediatelly.
I have no knowledge of what should i write on the "Choose" option so that i manual set my midi buttons.

Any help? p.ex. MIXER MIDI: CHANNEL=2 NOTE=60 What should i write?

Not completely understanding what you ask, I presume you want to write an input profile. https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... files.html
So you (and QLC+) knows how to respond to midi input? And what midi input has to be bound to buttons, tap-signals, ...

Yes i should write an input profile for DJM2000.
There are over 100 midi Buttons/faders etc. on the mixer and i need to read the mixer manual for the assignment

I just wanted to quickly press the Auto-Detect on QLC and press a button from mixer to save. (Works ok with other softwares)
But here is not working because the moment you press "Auto-Detect", Mixer's midi clock output is assigned immediatelly as the QLC's input, no matter what button you really press or how fast.

Please study the manual a little further ... You can use the wizard to assign midi channels into a profile.
Once one gets detected (and learned), the other (unknown) function will come up.
Am I right?

Thanks, i will read and try to assign as you propose.

If that work will be awesome. Lights will automatically be controled as you mix (faders, eq, fx... ) on your mixer 8-)

I found a solution to this.

I had to reassign (only using the wizard, because of the midi clock issue mensioned above)
my mixer's touchscreen from midi channel 2 to midi channel 1 so that QLC recognise the buttons.
Any other channel number seems to not working with QLC (They work ok in a midi monitor software).

Only problem is that the mixer has two midi devices is one (Touchscreen + mixer).
They cant be on the same channel, so im loosing half the external midi device.

Any knowledge is welcome as im new to midi. The mixer is the DJM 2000 NXS

Greetings again,

So... on QLC i am only able to detect and use every midi output that is on channel 01 on my mixer.
How am i supposed to use a button from the mixer that is on CH:02 NOTE:60 ? :geek:

Just an idea:
Did you enable QLC to receive Midi data from all 16 Midi channels?
Read about it here:

This post is about my akai APC40, which has also problems when receiving on one channel (usually 1) only.

Please post an update about any success!
