Fixture definition of Chauvet Ovation F-915FC. This fixture seems to have various versions, Rev. 7 has 9 modes 17Ch, 14Ch, 13Ch, 11Ch, 7Ch, 5Ch, 3Ch, 1Ch, and HSV. The Rev.9 has 9 modes: 18Ch, 14Ch, 13Ch, 11Ch, 7Ch, 5Ch, 3Ch, 1Ch, and HSV. I included in this definition the two revisions of fixture, the Rev. 7 has 17Ch. mode and Rev.9 has 18Ch. that add control fans and dimmer curves.

How well does this Ovation F915FC work with QLC? I"m about to purchase some for my theatre and will demo one first. I came here to see if anyone had any issues with it. I haven't seen any posts. Can you share any issues if you've used this fixture. (I'm using a windows 10 computer) Thanks :)

The Ovation worked properly during the four performances we did. I didn’t use it (I did the audio part of the play with QLC +) it was done by a partner with a Windows 10 computer and QLC + 4.12.3.

Santiago,

Out of interest - does it show it's revision version through RDM? (Boldly asking without verifying whether it has RDM on board at all)

I don't know if this fixture show his version through RDM. The lights in this play was made by another guy. He send to me a copy of his workspace and custom fixture definitions. The fixture definitions was incomplete and I have complete for all modes.
This theater was recently reopened. All stage equipment is new. It is designed on Artnet, 3 Elation eNode8 Pro are installed and 24 universes are configured. Each light bar or truss is assigned an Artnet universe. Attached you can found a pdf document with the equipment it has.
In this post I explained some things from this theater. https://www.qlcplus.org/forum/viewtopic ... 695#p61695

As a general rule of thumb, I'd say let's define the latest version.
This time I left all the modes in.
Watch out: I renamed the fixture to F-915FC (added a dash as the product website indicates)
Added, thanks

I discovered that this fixture had various versions searching the manuals on the Chauvet website. The fixtures in the new theater has the old version. Since I had a lot of work done, I thought it would be best to implement all modes of this device.
Thanks for adding this fixture.
