Greetings, first post, newbie QLC+ user.
I cannot get QLC+ to recognize MIDI from my Enttec DMX USB Pro MK2. The channel wizard won't pick up MIDI notes. Why might this be happening?
The Pro MK2 DMX output 1 and MIDI input are mapped. It says that the Pro MK2 is operating correctly using the DMX USB plugin. But the channel wizard doesn't detect any MIDI notes. If I mash the keys, one or two might pop up - but that doesn't happen often at all.
With QLC+ closed, the Enttec DMX Pro Manager's "read MIDI data" feature decodes keys as one or two rows of hex similar to "0x2 0x7f 0x2" with "?" in the MIDI column. If I mash the keys, sometimes I'll see something like "(Note On - Ch1) (C# 3) (0 %) " in the MIDI column, but it's not very often at all.
If I swap out the Pro MK2 for a Roland UM-1, the QLC+ channel wizard picks up every note. MIDI-OX shows good note data.
What could be the problem here?
Thank you --
