Hello. I have a little question about QLC +. I have two buttons. On the one hand, a normal button that calls up a scene with the basic light red, and on the other hand, a flash button that is misrepresented with a white scene (white blinder). But now I have the problem that when the red basic light scene is activated and I "push over" the flash button with the white blinder, the blinder appears red and white. But I would like that as soon as I press the flash button, the red values are set to "zero" and a pure white blinder can be seen on stage. What i has to change so that when the Flash button is pressed, the values of the basic light scene are set to "zero" and a pure white blinder is shown on stage? As soon as I release the flash button, the normal basic light should be displayed again. Can someone help me with my problem?

I'm afraid that there is only a partial (but rather complex) solution.
The problem here is that the flash function should have a higher priority in the engine of QLC+.
You could try things like changing to LTP (Latest Takes Precedence), but this won't re-enable your red scene, once the flash has finished.
As standard HTP is in place (Highest Takes Precedence), channels with higher values overruling other values. Hence white + red.
If you search a bit on this forum you might find partial solutions.

What I do for that effect is set a scene with RGB values full up, disable all other channels on the fixture, and have the VC button for the scene as a flash. That way, you can bump white with any color.

Hey kenact,
here is a short version of my project. As you can see, I have multiple Basic color scenes of RGBW fixtures with normal buttons. When I push for example red and want to blind white (flash button) it looks red + white on stage. I have tried out to play with HTP and LTP but without a satisfying result. Frames are only a possibility for the basic color scenes. I'd like to override the basic color scene by pressing the flash button. As soon as I release it, the basic color should be seen on stage. The same thing I would like to do with white strobe effects. Have you a solution for me?

Hey kenact,
in the example, I used a generic RGBW fixture. In "real life" I use the Futurelight Stage Pixel Bar 5. But for the test, I thing a generic RGBW would be ok. Thanks for your help.

I haven't found a solution yet, but I think I have a work around. Instead of just turning on the white for the blinder, have you tried setting all colors to full? Red at 255 + Green at 255 + Blue at 255 = white.
I'm going to look at this a bit more, because I'm seeing some other things that are a bit quirky.

I have no idea whether this will suit your purposes, and it may cause problems with more complex set ups.
Set the the channels of the fixtures to LTP.
Put the Red, Green, Blue scenes in a solo frame.
Put a white scene in a flash but set RGB to zero.
Now when you flash it will set the colours back to zero and white to full

You could create a solo frame with one red scene and one white scene. Bind them to a midi controller, first start red, then hit white and shortly after red again.

I think I've got it.
You do have to set your fixtures to LTP.
You have to change your Blinder scene to include ALL Fixtures (rb&g) with Red Blue & Green set to zero.
In each of your Basic Color Scenes, you also have to include White, set to zero, otherwise White will always be on, after you use it the first time.
Because of the way LTP works, you will also have to create scenes to turn your individual colors off, so you will have one button to turn on Red, and another button to turn it off.
When you use LTP, you will also have to make sure all your fixtures are set to zero, before you start your show, so I would also create another scene, All Off, that has all fixtures included, but set to zero.
