Novation Launchpad X & Mini MK3

Hello,

Is there anyone who can help me for a Fixture file from the Novation Launchpad X or the Novation Launchpad mini MK3?

I am looking for the same as for the Launchpad Pro:

What you need is an Input Profile. https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... files.html

I assume the device communicates using MIDI.

First, you need to determine if it uses one channel or many channels.
Select appropriate channel(s) in the input channel settings.

Then either manually enter the channels in the editor (if you know the MIDI messages) or
use the automatic detection where you need to move each control in order to let QLC+ learn its message.

Edit: if there is a similar device (e.g. some other Launchpad) that already has a profile, you may start from that
and adjust differences.

If you order me an Launchpad X i'm going to do that one too XD. Serious: The Profile should be compatible, not sure about the InitSequence, but you can set it into developer mode yourself. If you need to you can change the Inputs from buttons to sliders, bc the X supports pressure sensitive pads.

Be careful using pressure sensitive buttons ... you get 4 velocity messages per press and this might overwhelm QLC+ (and bound functions to inputs - starting the same functions multiple times and very hard to debug)

Depending on what you want to do, you can set up the launchpads to send or not send aftertouch in boot mode.

If it´s just used as a bunch of triggers / switches, you can filter this out before clogging the MIDI bus.
