I purchased these lights: https://www.amazon.com/Rollrc-Uplights- ... B0829BVHCD

I'm new to QLC+ and am trying to set these up for some accent lighting in a venue as controllable lighting to use during livestreams.

I wonder if there's a different fixture that I could start with when creating this?

Here are the specs:

This looks like an easy task... 7 channels and all except ch 5 and 6 have continuous range.

Even creating a new definition should be managable in an hour or so.

To find a similar device I'd open QLC+, hit the big green + icon to open the add fixture dialog and search the lefthand list using terms like Par, Flat Par, whatever seems fit.

In the fixture editor on the channel tab you can then open the fixture you think is close enough (from OLC's system fixture folder) and copy and paste any channel that fits over to your new definition. See the icons on the right side. Same goes for modes.

But honestly I think it's not worth the effort, you'll be probably quicker creating from ground up instead of all that copypaste and reassuring everything worked out as you wanted...

In fact I've done half of that while writing this post, in 15 minutes or so. I think all the channels are there, I leave it to you to add the modes (the amazon page says it has 9 modes?), you'll need at least one. Also the technical details, physical dimensions etc.

Thanks, I really appreciate you helping me out with this. After I have made a few I'm sure this would be super easy but the first couple are a little tricky. This is a hobby project I am working on evening hours only, so I'll give this a shot some evening this week and I'll let you know how it goes and share my final result!
