Hi,
I'm planning to set up DMX lights around my house and I'm wondering about cost effective options for connecting different universes in different areas of the house. I have a RPi 3 + Bitwizard DMX interface with usb (FT245RL), so I can output 512 channels from that. Should I duplicate this box in each area, or use something like the DMXKing eDMX1 PRO? What are some good options?
I have CAT6 everywhere and prefer to avoid wireless.
Once the hardware is set up it won't move, so maybe that means it can be less robust than gear that's used for shows.
Does anyone know if the Bitwizard can talk to Art-Net or sACN with QLC+ somehow? I've searched for info on this topic but haven't found anything that makes sense to me yet.
Thanks,
Phil
Multi universes with Bitwizard DMX and CAT6?

If you install OLA (https://www.openlighting.org/ola/) on the Pi, it should very well be possible. Either using ArtNet or sACN
