Hey,
I have a question: I work with a friend and we both use QLC+ 4.12.2 on Windows.
We program parts of the show for use alone and then we puzzle the show together.
He have the main computer, so he is connected with the USB Dmx interface and I am connect via artnet to the main computer.
He can control his part and I can control my part, but only if the another one have everything one zero. When not, the dmx channel overlay each other. So a want blue and he want red.. The light is purple..
We only see our values.. Is there a way that I see what he do and he what I do... So that we can complete each other..
Thanks

So .. if you both MUST control the SAME lights, a few suggestions:
- use the web interface capability of QLC vs two instances so you can see what he's doing vs what you're doing so you don't stomp each other.
- or you could create 2 control surfaces to the same system. Eg .. if you have 2 APC40s they BOTH can be configured to manage the same cue's. you'd have to be careful how this worked so that you're not stepping on each other all the time; but if you configured the lights you'd at least have a visual of what's current.
- The overlay behavior you have is exactly how QLC operates ( I use this to have different scene types for different lights, eg I have color scenes different from position an they work on the same light. )
- you might segregate the lights so you're working a specific set and he's working a different set. For instance I have a Launchpad grid for base color scenes on a stage, and an APC40 for movers and effects.
