Hello
I'm going to travel with a theater group for a couple of months, doing several different venues. My plan was to have the show saved on my computer, and once I got there just change the addresses to whatever we would use in the venue. So, for exemple, if in my show the blue backlight was saved to channels 50, 58 and 62, change their settings to the new addresses.
However, I can't seem to find if that is possible. Just changing their addresses doesn't update scenes, chasers ou channel groups which used the fixture. Anything I'm missing?
Thank you!

I do'nt understand your issue.
If you have setup your Fixture as example:
"General dimmer #1" on DMX channel 001, then you can move that fixture to another (free!) DMX channel by double clicking on the fixture and input the wanted DMX channel!
As simple as that.
QLC uses a unique number (ID) for each fixture, and that ID is used everywhere. (scene, chaser etc.)
So, can you explain your issue more precisely?

Sorry, I'm not a native English speaker. Let me try once more:
When I change the address, the scenes/chases/etc that I have created with the original address do not change. So if I created a scene with a fixture on channel 3 and later change it to 57 to reflect the new address in the new venue, the scenes and chases are still looking for address 3.
I was wondering if there was a way to change the address and have that change be recognized by what I recorded, so I don't have to recreate all my scenes for every new venue I go to and instead just re-address the fixtures.
I hope I was able to be more clear this time. Thank you!

When you change the fixture with address '3' to '57' all functions will move with it.
Or you can use https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... remap.html

You are absolutely right, they do move with it. While testing I forgot to change the physical address on the fixture. Probably the second dumbest mistake, followed by "forgot to check the master dimmer".
However, I ran into a different problem. Before changing the address, I had a test chase that worked fine. After the change, it doesn't anymore: instead of switching colors, it starts adding them up. If I move the fixture back to its old address, it starts working again. Any idea where I might be screwing up?
Thank you!

It no longer switches between colors. Instead, it lights up the first color (magenta), then adds the second (cyan) — at which point everything becomes "white", full RGB — and then I can only assume it keeps adding the following colors. But like I said, after step two all 3 color faders are at 255 and no longer get dropped to 0.
When the same fixture is in the original address, that same chaser worked fine, switching between magenta, cyan and yellow.
Not as far as I can tell.
Thank you!

oke - ...
Are you testing this while QLC+ is running?
so basic show + move of fixtures = described fault?
What if you reset QLC+ (close and open)
It might be that certain settings are buffered??
If a fixture has let's say 8 channels and you move it to another base channel, it should be reflected in your project file.
Meaning that if you move it the base channel + 8 have to react to commands.
(check it through DMX-monitor)
Wait a minute ... it could be that we are blindly seeking into a forest - what about your fixture definition files?? Are they set to use LTP? That would explain a lot...
In LTP mode you HAVE to reset channels to the levels you wish to have in the next cue. Explaining the add-up behavior you see...
