X Touch Mini Virtual Desk
X Touch Mini Virtual Desk
I spent a bit of time today working out the Behringer X Touch Mini and wanted to share my Virtual Desk in case it is useful to anyone else. I like this midi controller as most of the controls are rotary and can show the status via the led ring without needing to be motorised.

Note that Midi control is on channel 11 for input and feedback.

One downside for this application is that the 'master fader' (the slider) has a different control channel depending on which bank is selected (10 or 11), making it difficult to make it a grand master fader.

Also, if buttons are controlled from the virtual desk the they light appropriately, but if pressed from the X Touch they only flash while being pressed. Hopefully someone brighter than I can work this out!

Most buttons are not assigned to functions, but 1r (rotary push), 1a & 1b have been assigned to show the functionality.

Hello,

I also have this controller which suits me perfectly given the number of buttons and encoders.

So I created an input profile.

I see exactly the same problem with the lights that do not stay on when activating from the X-Touch (it's ok from the Virtual Console).
It would be really great if this controller was fully supported by QLC +.

Maximo had already worked on it a few years ago (see here: http://qlcplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9037).
Unfortunately, giacomo has finally separated from this controller so the thread stopped.

I don't know how I can help but I can send some traces if necessary.

Thank you

I found a solution for this problem : just download the X-TOUCH EDITOR from the Behringer Site and configure the Fader with the same values on Layer A and B.
