Hello an good evening. My Name is Franziskus and I´m posting here for the first time.
With this fantastic software I try to let a moving head perform not a full circle but
only a half one an then return to its start position. Can this be done and how ?
I hope that this is the right place to ask this question.

Hi GGGss, I know this parameter and it is not usefull in this case. As I understand, it only limits the _range_
of the DMX values but does not affect the algorithm itself which seems to run a full circle all the time.
What I am looking for, is to run the FX functions only in portions of a full circle.
Maybe something like "start at angle" and "end at angel".
Maybe I´m too blind to see.

Ok this makes more sense,
I could come up with a complex solutions using loopback channels and channel modifiers to filter out the values not wanted...
But will it be worth it? You could try with a cosine figure for the pan channel and only use the positive leg of the figure. Or mess around with the timing and setting the speed to zero at the point where they should stop moving?
