Hi Everyone,
This is my first post in the forum.
I already have my RPI 3b+ working with Bitwizard board and i' executing some testings.
During the testings an idea come to my mind and i couldn't find the answer on the forum
Is possible to modify the input of the board to convert it into an output for an other universe or at least to use it as "splitter" of the same univese?
Thanks for your time and i really want to thanks Maximo because it works perfectly, its a little tricky to get it configured first time but i will try to upload and SOP for feature newbies.
Regards
Alan from Argentina

input from the bitwizzard board or the RpI board? RpI inputs can be configured - forum and the .pdf has some examples. BiWizzard board? Does it has an input?

Hi GGGss,
Thanks for your answer, this is the board.
I already configured it to use the output, as i'm not interest on input i want to see the possiblity to set it up as a new universe so i can handle two universe with the same board or at least use it as a "splitter" for one universe (i know that i will have to manufacture a cable con change the XLR female to XLR male.
Regards
Alan

Off topic since this not QLC+ related.
On the bitwizzard site I find this: [edit] On top of this statement, Massimo made it clear here: viewtopic.php?t=8894

I alread read Massimo’s topic and with that i made my Bitwizard board work perfectly.
Now i want to move a step foward and try to use both port, XLR male and female, as output.
For that i think that some configurations need to be made and that is my question.
The best escenario will be to use both ports as two different universes but if thar is not possible, i wil be happy to use both port with the same universe
Thanks in advance
Alan

I think this is what you were supposed to read:
The direction GPIO is there for that reason. The hardware does not support input and output at the same time. For now the UART plugin supports only data output and in any case the BitWizard board doesn't support simultaneous input/output.

Hi Massimo,
Sorry if i'm not explaining correctly what i want to do.
That quote i read it and is not what i need because in fact i'm not interested on inputs.... so i want to take advantage of the input port that i dont want to use and replace it as another output.

That's not possible either.
The bitwizard board has only one output by hardware design.
