Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

I would like to program shows for my home theater.
I start light with the start function. When the show starts, the light will be turned off (stop function via script) and the movie will start - that works. After the movie, the light should automatically turn on and remain on even after the show has ended. Is this possible?

Until now, the light only goes on as long as it's set in the show, but I'd like it to turn on and stay that way until it's stopped again.

Last step inside a (master or global) chaser is Houselights on with 00-duration (indefinitely)??
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

Unfortunately, QLC always crashes when I set the chaser to infinity

Is it supposed to work even when you do that?

You can create a Loopback at the end of the show that triggers a new scene on the virtual console.
