RGB matrix script 2nd rgb value

Hello,

currently I do study, how to write own rgb matrix scripts and I don't find information about how one can access the 2nd choosen color by te algo.rgbMap function.

Is the parameter rgb just a fading value between the 1st and 2nd color selection over the amount of steps or is there an alternative parameterlist for rgbMap.

Do you know, how that works and what I can do to access the 2nd color? If it is just a fading value, can one somehow specify colors as parameters? As I read in the manual, there is not type color for the algo.properties.
