How can I keep chasers in sync

Hi out there,

using the speed dial widget: does anyone know how to keep chasers in sync than do not share the same amount of steps ?
Say, chaser A has 4 steps and chaser B has six steps, they are running out of sync ...

Thx.

Dummy steps

How can you sync 6/4 th's? It will always be out of sync somewhere in time.

To be more clearly:

Total run time: 1 sec. (speed dial in VC ist set to 1 sec and the multipier is set to 1)
Chaser A has 4 steps, so every step has to run 0,25 sec.
For that, I will set the multiplier to 1/4.
Chaser B has 6 steps, so every step has to run 0,16 sec. (est.)
For that, I will set the multiplier to ???
In the end, chaser A will be finished before chaser B or chaser A will be interrupted before finished.

For sure, I can search the least common multiple and duplicate steps - but that gets unmanageable quite fast
And will not work with RGB scripts - which I use a lot

For now, it seems undoable, perhaps QLC will offer free multipliers in the future...

As GGGss suggested add some dummy steps.

Add them to the 6 step chaser to make it an 8 and use a 1/8 multiplier.

Thx for your reply, but adding dummy steps is completly different from changing the timing...
One cannot run - say - red, green blue and then "off" just to stay sync with a chaser - say -
red, green, blue, white, amber !
The first one needs a multiplier of 1/3 whereas the second one needs 1/5.
And even worse, if you wish to combine - say - the first chaser with a 8 step chaser you have to duplicate
each chaser for each possible combination.
The only true solution are free multipliers in the speed dial widget, I'm afraid.
