Hello Guys,
I would like to ask, if it would be possible to add support for Nicolaudie interfaces (SunliteSuite, Daslight, Cameo DVC,…). I know this has already been discussed a few times over the years, but giving that in the meantime there is other third party software such as Freestyler, and OLA supporting the interface it would be great if QLC+ would follow. Nicolaudie did in fact publish a Developers Toolkit with some example codes in different languages. Unfortunately the website is not directly accessible anymore, only thru Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20180826100 ... me-dev.htm
But the toolkit can still be downloaded from the official link: https://storage.googleapis.com/nicolaud ... DevKit.zip
I ask, because I think QLC+ would highly benefit from supporting those interfaces, giving that there are a lot of them out there, but the official software doesn’t seem to get much maintenance and new features. In the meantime I found an alternative way to get at least DMX output working from QLC+ to a Sunlite Interface through ART-NETtoDMX supplied with Freestyler

Hey. As I did not get any reply jed I did some additional research and found out, that there Already exists an open source driver for Some of their interfaces: https://github.com/acarreras/ofxDmxSuidi . Because I’m not a software guy I’m not able to implement the drivers into QLC+ myself, but if anybody could implement it I would gladly do some demo testing.

First, that's a 6 years old project. Most likely outdated.
Second, it works only on Windows.
Third, I've already been in contact with Nicolaudie and they propose something that is not acceptable for the open QLC+ license.

Hey, Yes the project is indeed already quite old, but I don’t think that the information in it is outdated, since some of their interfaces even predate this project.
The shown project is for windows only, but the LsHardDevKit (https://storage.googleapis.com/nicolaud ... DevKit.zip ,Linked from there Website) includes Drivers and Demo projects for Windows Mac and Linux, even in QT
I've got the third point, but I don’t understand why they don't want to give the costumer the opportunity of using alternative software, even if it already payed top dollars for the License of their crap software when purchasing the completely overpriced Interface.
