In the QLC+ Video Tutorial #7 - Positions and EFX, Massimo has created a total reset (momentairy ) button.
You can see, that the pan and tilt of the fixtures are indeed resetted to theyre zero point.
But first -of course- he stops all active functions.

How did he do that?
If i stop all functions the LPT channels stay as they are. (Ok)
If I create a button with all the LPT channels at zero, during clicking the channels go zero.
However, after releasing the button, the LPT channels return to theyre value before. But no function is active…..

If I understand the LPT rule correctly, the latest value should be zero after this exercise?

What do I miss???? :ugeek:
Thanks for your help

Paul.

Do you have sliders in your VC controlling LTP channels?
Cause an issue has been found in 4.12 and fixed in 4.12.2. Test version here.

I already use version 4.12.2.
I'll create a simple workspace with the phenomenon.
Thanks for your reply so quickly!!

After some extended testing and changing behavior of LPT channels, I found out that if you have a fade-out active in your function OR use a button with Stop all functions with a fade-out time > zero, then the LPT channels return to the values of the last used function.
This is also true for using a slider with play-back function. (you cannot zero out the fader in 0,00 sec...)

So, if a LPT channel can fade (in the ficture definition), then after the first time of ending a function that uses the LPT channel with a fade-out, the LPT channel will Always return to the value of the last used function.
No matter whether you force them to zero, and release it afterwards.

Is this a functionallity as it is ment to be?
Thanks for response

Paul.
