Hello,
In my virtual console i can connect an audio trigger to an animation widget.
But the sound control the intensity of the first step of the RGB matrix only.
I can create a sequence from the RGB matrix, and connect the audio trigger to it . It s work well.
But with this method i can not change start and end colors easily during my show...
So my question is : How can i connect an audio trigger directly to a RGB matrix and go step by step in the pattern thanks to the sound ?
Should i write a script ?
Thanks a lot for your help
Best regards
xav

Thanks to your reply mcallegari
i can easilly save functions in a sequence and control it with an audio trigger but when i do that with a matrix it bug.
i send to you my file , i thank you very much if you can take a look on this.

Perhaps I'm talking out of my boundaries now but IMHO the matrix was ment to be a running function.
Not something that has to be triggered every x ms...
The matrix can be used as a tool to create nice fluid looking sequences. I'm trying to imagine what audio triggering these will look like on stage.
I come to the only conclusion that you better set your fixtures in 'auto'-mode - not one sequence will finish in beauty, triggering multiple matrices with the same fixtures inside will look awful (unless that is want you want of course)

EDIT
After having a look at your project...
You want 2 simple flip flops triggered in sequence based on the 'bass' audio signal.
What you are lacking is a VC time widget setting the 'bpm' and the audio widget to trigger this bpm timer.
Now assign hold times for all sequences from the VC time widget.
Now assign a switch time (or 'go' signal) where the sequence advances.
Please rethink you workflow - you need some basic functions before you can advance to the more complex stuff.
Learning QLC+ requires some basics.
I once wrote once a lengthy thread about basics. Statics, Dynamics and EFX. Only then the audio feature comes into play (after everything else is working).

Hello GGGsss !
thank you very much for your answers because they help me
No I'm not a beginner, I've been using QLC for over a year because I find it great.
I have never had the opportunity to use the VC time widget so far.
I have always used the micro widget with seqencers (in which I have functions) but never used this micro widget with matrices.
I followed your advice and I start having a flip flop that works with the BPM but when the ryhm stops the animation continues with the BPM.
I'm sending you my new test file.
Thank you for helping me one last time.

Of course it continues - you trigger the bpm with audio - not the sequence
Depending on what you want to achieve I can imagine 2 or 3 solutions, although rather complex, to automatically stop the show of running.
(one involves retriggering a chaser over and over again untill the music gets quiet for lets say 4 seconds and then resets (or disables) the timer widget.)
In your show ... is there a reason why there wont be any music playing? Live band performing? Well in this case you cannot automate (unless you go into timecode mode) since it's unpredictable live music...

Thank you for your answer
yes I wish to accompany in light music groups.
After thinking this mode of operation is not a big problem.
But curiously my washs become uncontrollable since I programmed this trigger with a matrix of PAR.
i will send my file latter
bye
