We made a light system for a party of ours a couple years ago and we're using QLC+ 5. Lights we got online https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HX ... UTF8&psc=1 and are hooked up to some racking and tied together, overall a pretty sweet set up for the price.

Our sound guy built the board and 12 foot switches to control the lights while we are on stage. I built a housing for the foot switches and we have some basic stuff programmed into the board - strobe, black out, spotlight, etc.

Is there a way to set up a two or three color set that are sound activated? I've tried to edit some of the sequences with Mic Activated and it works with the sound, but it runs the full color spectrum, not select colors.

I noticed in a lot of small and mid sized shows that the bands usually have a limited color palette per song. The big shows and the big light rigs, they have scripted sequences for each song. We don't need that and I like the limited color look.

I want to assign two or three colors to a switch that are Mic Activated, then I can set up this function across all 12 of our foot switches.

Example would be sound activated lights that only switch between Purple and Green, or Red Yellow and Orange.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Are you sure you're using QLC+ 5 (alpha) ?
It is not feature complete yet (read the annoucements) and audio input support is not there yet.

I saw somewhere in the interface it said 5.6.42 or some similar number, thought I was using 5
I opened it just now and under the info button it says QLC+ 4.10.5b - I have a question posted in the 4 section - Ill have to re-post in the 4 section, but if its not something even available in 5 it sounds like Im trying to ask it to do something it cant do yet. (Correct?)

Thanks

With the Audio triggers widget you can set different triggers per frequency or main volume peak.
Just attach single color channels to the trigger you prefer and I think you can achieve what you're asking.
