Can someone explain the correct procedure to add a fixture file once downloaded from here please. I am on a macbook pro.

Hi there,

If you want to add a fixture downloaded from here,

1. Copy the downloaded file
2. Open Fixture Definition Editor and click "Open"
3. paste the copied fixture profile in the "Open a fixture definition" window.

I am a Windows user so I don't know where the fixture definitions would be stored for a mac. but if you do it this way, It should automatically open the place you need to put the fixture profile.
Also, you may have to restart QLC+ in order for it to recognize the new fixture once pasted.

If you wish to find the exact address, after opening the Fixture Definition Editor and clicking "Open", take note the address it gives you and you should be able to add any fixture definition you wish to use there.
