Hey everybody,
we've got a QLC+ system on a Windows 10 PC (Version 4.12).
It is used to control lights, music and videos in a hotel. The codec-package is installed.
When I try to start a video (direct in settings menu, as a function or in the virtual console), it won't start. If I switch the function off and start it again, it'll play. So the files are only played on the second attempt.
I did a little workaround with a chaser as a startup function, which plays all video files in an order for 1 second. Then, the other functions will work (most time, not always).
Does anyone know a solution for this?
Thanks a lot.
Video starts only on second attempt

It looks like the problem was first fixed in version 4.10.4, but was broken again in 4.11.2.
The video works properly in:
4.10.4
4.10.5b
4.11.0
4.11.1
In subsequent versions, video does not start the first time.
In versions prior to 4.10.4, video always starts in Screen 1 the first time.
I hope that's helpful Massimo.

The tests I ran were all on the same laptop.
Win 10 Pro x64
2.4 ghz Dual Core Processor
8 gb Ram
Mobile Intel 965 Express Display Adapter
Ran another test on my tower
Win 10 Home x64
2.6 ghz i6 12 Core
32 gb Ram
nVidia Geforce GTX 970 1 gb Ram
4.10.4 through 4.11.1 work properly for video
4.11.2 through 4.12.1 video doesn't work at all. Video file plays, and sound for video is heard, but will not display on either monitor.
Both systems use the same monitors & monitor configuration
VGA monitor 1
1680x1050
DVI monitor 2
1050x1680

I looked there, but didn't initially see the Windows downloads.
Massimo, I ran tests on my laptop:
Win 10 Pro x64
2.4 ghz Dual Core Processor
8 gb Ram
Mobile Intel 965 Express Display Adapter
and on my tower:
Win 10 Home x64
2.6 ghz i6 12 Core
32 gb Ram
nVidia Geforce GTX 970 1 gb Ram
Videos play as expected. If assigned to screen 2, the video plays on screen 2, the first time & every time.
Thanks again Massimo
