Hi Professionals,
I actually use the following constellation as an example for some spots.
I created a normal frame which I can activate with a button on my APCmini, this works.
Within the frame I created a solo frame and activate the pages feature, I have configured four of them. Every page can be switched/activated by a separate button also on the APCmini, this works too.
On every page of the solo frame there is a cuelist with a chaser which reacts on beats coming through ArtNet, this works also.
When I start QLC+ and switch to operate mode, switch on the normal frame, the solo frames already are activated as it should be, BUT then I have to choose or activate one of the pages to get the cuelist to run. If I did not activate a page it seems that all pages are active somehow and therefor there is a total chaos. Is this an issue or am I doing something wrong? I would expect that the page shown in the solo frame is the active one and has not to be activated again!
The next thing I have a problem with is, that the spots stayed at the last values of the cuelist when I deactivate the normal frame to stop this function and also the spots. I thought it would be nice, that the spots which I control with the normal frame should have a blackout or something like that.
king regards
Roger

To be honest - solo frame & pages ... brr the chills run down my spine
Wouldn't it be better to enable pages in your parent frame (and yes then you would to have to create page-nums of solo frames), control them by external command and
Oh wait ... you want the pages to be in a 'solo' state. One upon a time right?
This can be done by creating a solo frame with 'page-command' buttons. Call it the master-switch.
* Create a solo frame outside of the parent frame you have now.
* place the # of buttons you need to address the pages in your parent frame.
* bind your external command to these buttons.
* the buttons inside the master-switch (solo frame) send loopback information.
* the loopbacks are bound to the page controls of the parent frame.
Now the frame pages should be addressable by external commands, the solo feature addressed by your other external commands.
(By this you only can enable only one page in the master frame and then from there on?)
Didn't try it - wrote this text by 'hard'...

Thank you for your quick response, but I'm honestly, I did not really understand what you are talking about ???
What kind of loopback information should be send from a button? With the button I can choose the pages of the solo frame, that works. Only when I start the operate mode there is not really one page active, that's my problem, so how get I a page active without pushing the button first?
kind regards
Roger

So here I am again !
I tried the steps you wrote above but I did not really understand the part "buttons send loopback information" ... but I also think you did not really understand what I want to do so please give it a second try:
Here in this configuration the normal frames are missing because I have deleted them and put actually everything "alone". As you see the "Spider" and also the "Moving Heads" have solo frames, one for colors, the other one for moving/position scenes, with cuelists on different pages so I can choose both independently. Therefor I have a few buttons an my APCmini so I can directly choose the desired page I want.
Before I had "around" the "Spider" and also the "Moving Heads" elements a separate normal frame with no pages. Also I had buttons on my APCmini which activates this frames like "On/Off". Therefor I have configured in the picture above the four On/Off buttons in the middle, but actually they have no function, only to show, what I mean.
So I could switch every group like "Spider" separately On/Off, that works great. If the frame was active, the cuelists in the solo frames start working while they get the next step using ArtNet.
But here is the problem: When I start operation mode and also I remember I switch normal frame which contains the elements On and Off, the pages within the solo frames are not really active until I pushed a button to choose a specific one of them, it seems that all pages are a "little bit" active because the cuelists on all pages starts running but always on the same second step. I cannot check this because the I have to switch the pages and then everything is working. But like the lamps are flashing it is the only explanation, that all cuelists are still doing something until I choose a specific page. Is that a feature or an issue?
The second problem is, when I deactive the normal frame (which are still missing in the pic above ), all of the elements (solo frame(s) etc.) stop working, great, but the last step is still on the devices, especially something like "all lamps are red", here I want to have a kind of blackout for the elements inside of the frame when I deactive the frame around, is that possible?
So I hope my problem is a little bit better declared ... and sorry for my bad english.
Bye
Roger

Hi GGGss,
since no one else has answered yet I have tried your way, but i think it will not work:
- I have created a first only one button inside the solo frame
- I have bind this to one button of the external APC mini
- I have configured that the user response should be 0 and 1
but here it stops working!
If the button has no function assigned the button does nothing. If it would do something, how can I evaluate the value from the response at a page, please explain what I have to configure to do that!
I see no possibility to do this simple thing, am I the first one who wants to deactive as an example the moving heads and all of their control buttons/functions/controller and also switch between different chasers for the units especially moving and colors and only one shpuld be active?
Or am I right to do this as I described but there is a bug in QLC+ which prevents to do this?
kind regards
Roger
