[Solved] Adjust the intensity of 1 colour of 1 type of fixture for the whole project.

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Good morning all,

Last week our band used QLC+ on stage for the first time and all went very well. I will explain very briefly how we use it. QLC+ runs on a laptop and is connected to a Roland SPD-SX. The drummer (that’s me) starts a backingtrack by hitting a pad on the Roland and then via MIDI a button on VC starts. That works great! We kept everthing as simple as possible (within our knowledge) but what the audiance said is that the red sequences of 1 type of fixture (Ayra) where to bright and so we now started to make things better.

If we look at our project it’s going to be a huge job to adjust all sequences with red (for that Ayra fixture) 1 by 1. Could there be a way to adjust the intensity for 1 colour of 1 fixture for the whole project? I added our project so you have an idea what we’ve created so far.

The Channel modifier dialog is your friend, I attach a screenshot to show how to do it, I hope it's self explaining enough:

That works more then fine! I tried a few values by adjusting and saving templates but could not remove them when I was done. (The minus sign does not work) So I looked around a bit and found out the new templates are stored locally on my laptop and not within the show file. So I must not forget to copy these to my production laptop and RPi at some time.

But again, this works for me!!
