I guess I should have pointed out that I made my own definition for the fixture because the one in the library does not have aliases for the multifunction channels on the fixture.
Also, when I first started using QLC+, almost none of the fixtures I use were in the library, so I already created my own definitions, and updated them to use the aliases.
