Adding New Fixture to Library using Linux

I reviewed the forum and manual and it is still not clear ....

(1) I created the new fixture using qlcplus-fixtureeditor and saved it in the /home/pi/.qlcplus/fixtures directory
(2) Located the /usr/share/qlcplus/fixtures directory

Do I create a new directory in /usr/share/qlcplus/fixtures directory and copy my .qxf file into it?

What if anything should be done to the FixturesMap.xml file (I assume nothing)?
