Hi there!
I started using QLC+ just a week ago, but I am already in love with all the freedom and possibilities it has!
While tinkering around, I found a situation that I could not get to work.
For a little theatre production at school, I try to create a setup where I can trigger functions side by side but also just exclusively.
To clarify: for one scene it is necessary to activate functions in parallel and then those functions have to switch to exclusive use.
Of course I could program a chaser with all the necessary steps, but since the kids sometimes skip lines, this does not work for me.
What I tried in QLC+:
I made buttons for the functions in the virtual console and the same buttons again in a solo frame.
I was hoping that the buttons outside the solo frame could be activated simultaneously while the buttons in the solo frame shut down the other functions. Unfortunately, as soon as I have got the buttons in the solo frame, the "exterior" buttons behave like the buttons in the solo frame.
Am I missing something or is there any other way to achieve this?
Thank you so much!

Works as Designed.
When you use the same scenes inside and outside a solo frame - they will influence each other in a way that
* when you start something inside the other running function will stop
* when you start something outside the solo, the function inside will also be affected and will stop all other functions running.
Solution:
* clone your cues for use inside the solo.
(and I think you will be very happy with the collections possibility also)

Thank you for your reply!
I still have to adapt to the way QLC+ works and handles certain situations.
But since it is so flexible, I found this solution (if someone should ever have a similar need):
I put the functions on simple buttons to start end stop them as needed.
I then made simple "solo" scripts for every function to first stop the other functions and solo scripts and then start the function (with a 1h wait to keep the script running). This way, I can jump from parallel to "solo" mode without having to think about cloned functions staying on).
Your hint with the collections was also very helpful, as it is a nice way to activate multiple functions at once.
