Debian 9 Stretch and QLightController

Report an issue that you found while using QLC+ 5.x.

I have been trying to install the latest qlc on Debian 9 with no success.
The dreaded qt library conflicts are unresolvable. It is an unfortunate fact about qt I found the last 12 years. More trouble than it is worth.

I can run the binary7 appimage of course and I want to continue down that avenue.
The only appimage that is available seems to be of the bleeding edge version.

Are there any appimages available of stable releases ?
That would be a great way to continue using qlc without the qt/trolltech library trouble.

If appimages are not generally available, would the developers reading this consider creating an appimage as another option for stable releases ?
