Hi All,

I was wondering whether someone could assist me please. I have created the fixture for the 4 beam laser (LD-488B).
When I add the fixture to QLC+ fixture screen i have the following issues: -
1. The Fixture Icon does not default to laser as sepcified in the designer (Type(
2. The Mode does not reflect, it is blank.
3. Channels does not relfect correclty, defaults to 1 where there should be 7.

I have attached the DMX channel list as well as the fixure definition file.

Could someone point out the obvious as i have triple checked the defintions.

Much Appreciated
Clint

Hello clint.
I found the following errors:
1, a mode can not be called mode 1, the result would be, mode: mode1, the logic is,
mode: 7ch ... (in my opinion ...) modify it ....

2, Pan and Tilt were at 0º, the manual does not say anything, but thinking about what a laser can open I put 8º tilt and 15º Pan (It would be ideal to discover the real opening and correct it)

3, This laser has 4 heads (light beam outputs), in the device definition should reflect and mark which DMX channels affect each head,
in this case it seems that the 4 heads work in parallel, that is, the 7 ch affect the 4 heads equally ...

In principle with some changes load the definition of accessory in qlc and it seems to be all right and I think, that should work well, as I do not have the physical laser, I do not know if everything is in order .... Try it yourself.

If you want a faithful representation in the 3D of QLC5 you have to specify with accuracy the definition of accessory things like (heads, pattern, degrees pan and tilt ....)
And make sure that the laser is in 7ch mode and in the correct DMX address.
a greeting

Hi Andres,
Thank you for your prompt response and guidance on this topic, I appreciate it.

I will try the new file which you attached.

Ps the tilt and pan were only my interpretation of the movement of the heads (left, right, up and down) which I agree is not really the correct implementation.

Kind regards
Clint
