I was faced with a simple task, but I cannot solve it with functions qlc.
Can you add scene priority function
or light background?

If in serious trouble (I have been numerous times)
Prepare an 'autoplay' cue in QLC+ setting a basic atmosphere for your lightplan.
Then - if you are daring enough to do this - set all fixtures to 'hold last if DMX is out'
With closing down QLC+ and restarting it - What can be outputted will so (autostart-cue)
- If no response from your scene, despite ..., fixtures still have 'last value while DMX was working'
In this setup you can unplug DMX, unplug interface, ..., even reboot if necessary

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
