How do we Zero out Virtual Console controls so they don't affect functions...

So, I've built a VC that has all sorts of controls that allow me to set the state of all of my fixtures so I can dump them to a scene (function). Once I do that, is there a way to re-set or zero out all of the VC controls, so the functions can take over without running into the HTP problem from active sliders on the VC?

I envy you - creating a VC only to dump scenes ... heads up!
Yes you could do it ... but again spending that amount of time in proggin your VC - I wouldn't
Through feedback channels you could 'reset' your whole VC environment...
Every button / slider / ... would get an feedback input assigned
Every assigned feedback channel should have a cue - setting its to value '0'
Then you'd have to create a cue-list with all the reset-cue's in place and a 20ms+ hold time - it works ... I've done it - but again ... do you want to spend all that time?
In my QLC+ environment I have on my VC:
* statics: color button matrix, base positions matrix, gobo's and the lot, and so forth
* dynamics: cue-lists = color-changes 2 by 2 or flip flops, ... the like + timing controls (!!)
* EFX: efx you can apply to your statics and dynamics + sound controlled influences + smoker + pyro if you're asked for?
Thing is: I'm busking 70% of my assigned time. The rest is pre-programmed (cue list with over 140 steps and a hold time of 32th bar of the tempo they play and a 'swell time' (feed-in) of about 8s or so ... really cheesy
When I come in - everything is struck on target - so to say

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

So, if I create a single generic dimmer fixture with say, 50 channels, then use Universe 2 and 3 for loopback, I can create a single function with a single button, and the only thing I would have to do is assign each fader I wanted to be able to reset the input channel value to control its position.
Seems, however, in the process, that I would lose the ability to control any of those resetable sliders with any other input.
I could also have each of them listen to a single function's single generic dimmer value through loopback to shut them all down simultaneously with a single click.
