QLC+ in Applications Folder (MacOS Mojave)

I installed QLC+ in the Applications folder on my Mac Mini running Mojave, however when I go to open a project, I cannot navigate out of the Applications folder. The same applies if I install it to the Desktop. Am I supposed to mount it each time I open it? I can navigate around the files just fine if I mount the DMG and open it from there.

I have been testing a number of QLC+ versions running from the desktop. I did notice at one stage difficulties in navigating at one stage but didn't experiment long enough to work the exact circumstances.
What version of QLC+ are you using?
Would you mind posting a screenshot of the open file dialog box?
Try opening the workspace you want directly from the workspace (right-click > open with etc) and see what happens to the navigation.

I’m using the latest build of 4. I don’t have access right now to the machine so I can’t get a screenshot but it’s grayed out.
