You can easily rework the definition yourself.
The only thing that is 'wrong' is that you have to select gobo image representations which do exist within QLC+. Not your own.
The QLC+ gobo images can be found in the Gobos sub direcory of QLC+.
If you'd open the definition file with a text editor you'd see that is present.

You can, as long as they stay in your computer.
If you submit a definition for the community, you need to use the bundled gobo pictures.
