Hi Guys,
Im trying to get a MACos 10.13 running cubase to talk(send midi notes) to (QLCplus ) running on the same machine without cables.
On my linux box I open muse or musescore or a softsynth, I then open qlcplus and (I guess thru Jack) QLC 'sees' muse as a midi input device. I click in QLC input/output and bingo muse can send midi notes into QLC+.
I can t work out what to do in MAC to create the same link.
I can point cubase to an external (usb-midi cable) And using midi thru on a keyboard send it back to QLC+ midi in<->USB). But I should be able to do it all 'internally'?
Various VST and softsynths show up in Cubase and can be selected to send the midi to but not QLC. And QLC can see many input devices but nuthing shows up from cubase.
Is there a bridge thingo we need to install?
any ideas? ,Im not a MAC person, was over at a friends house trying to help him out. Spent a a lot of time reading searching here and across the web and cant see(maybe asking the wrong question) what it is we need to use.
cheers
[Solved] QLC does not see Cubase(MACos) midi
