How to realise an on-off button

I'd like to create a simple button to turn an appliance on or off. For this I have a scene for 'on' and a screne for 'off'. The 'on' is simple, take a button, assign the 'on' scene ad you are set. But the appliance does not turn off. I'd need to be able to assign both scenes to the button, one for the 'on' position, the other for the 'off' position.

I can assign a button to each scene, but then I have no visual feedback to see if it is on or off.

Any hint ?

First thoughts: Please read about LTP/HTP solo frames, both can be found in online documentation

Thanks for the hint. It looks like I can get close to what I need with solo frames.

- Is there a way to have a button activated by default ?

- Is there a way to get something similar between a button and cue list ?
For example I have a couple of UV pars I'd like to either be activated by queue list 'beat' or queue list 'strobe' or be off.

See the green flag -> It helps looking at the documentation: http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN/ ... nager.html

Don't quite understand your question - but yes: you could autostart one cue or a cue list (chaser f.i.)

And in your example who is setting these statuses? You have 3 choises ...
If you put these chasers (cue lists) inside a solo frame only one will be active at one given time (even the off status).

With the green flag I can set a scene as startup scene, it will get started/set on startup. I use that already.

I was asking about having a button activated as default (including the green frame around it to show that it is 'on'. But I think this is not available.

Actually I'd like to have three alternate ways to control the same light. Chaser 1, chaser 2 and a on/off button. During the show I want switch between them in an easy way. Maybe buttons to click on, 'Off' turns the light off, 'On' turns it on, 'C1' passes control to Cue list 1, 'C2' passes control to Cue list 2. Have not found a way to do that.

I needed a minute to see what you are doing. As I understand it the buttons in the frame send the signal not directly to the fixture but to a virtual loopback fixture in universe 2. The cue list picks up this signal to run the chaser.

Nifty !
