Hallo
I am getting around to playing with the gpio this morning and have noticed that if I connect a switch to GPIO (#4 though I don't think that matters) I can map it to the next trigger of the auto cue and when in run mode it will advance when I press it the first time, thereafter nothing.
When mapping the same gpio trigger to a button, it fires every time.
GPIO for cue list next stops after first trigger

It is a vanilla momentary switch. I also tried another momentary switch with the same result.

Hi!
I want to use the gpio for the same purpose as you but i have som more problems so i hope we both can find an answer here.
My problem is that i can not get any reaction to my hardware switches in qlcplus. My switches are connected between the gpio pins and ground. Is that right?
I read that there are pullup resistors on the raspberry but my multimeter measured only 0V! Are there pullups?
Another problem i have is the configuration of the plugin. I am using the official image (20160529). But when i configure the used pins as input do not get a reaction in virtual console (i considered the +1 offset) . After every reboot i have to configure the gpio plugin again.... I dont think thats the right behavior. Did i forget something?
Best regards!

The original issue is dated 2016.
What is exactly the issue here ?
Have you tried to create a custom input profile and enable the "Generate an extra Press/Release when toggled" option ?
