Hello everybody,

I'm trying to figure out if there is something QLC+ can do to help me with the following. I purchased one moving head about one year ago and this week I purchased a second unit, on the outside and by it self it acts like the same, but when I plugged a dmx cable between them (no software or controller involved) they we're acting up, then read both manuals and discovered that the strobe channel is different, both fixtures are 13 channel (new one is actually 14 but channel 14 is for reset so doesn't matter) and the only thing that changes is strobe, on my first fixture (older one) is on channel 12 alone and on the new one is on channel 6 and it's being shared with the dimming going from 8-134 for dimming and then from 135-239 for strobe and the remaining for some other effect (it's called medallion, not sure what it does).

So my question is, is there any way of me to make a setup in software so I can master - slave them? I basically want to mirror the effect, I know I can configure the settings of inverse pan and tilt on the menu, but the dimming and strobe are dmx handled so the only thing i'm facing right now is matching the channels.

Thanks in advance.

Moved to usage questions.

Do the 2 fixtures have the same DMX address or different ones ?
In the first case I guess you need to play with channel modifiers, in the second case with fixture remapping.

They are both on the same address, I'll play around with channel modifiers. Will post my result.

Thank you!!! :D

When they have the same address you cannot 'invert' because the both will do the same...
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
