So, I were wondering if it is possible to create a button on the virtual console that adds (and substracts) a number to a dmx channel, and thus being able to add it to a midi-controller buttion.
The usecase would be when you have some controll over a moveing-head, and you could add +1 or +5 or similar to adjust its pitch/tilt. Typically for a "follow spot" or a gobo/logo on a wall or similars

Reading this, I remembered a very long-time wish of mine (and some others):
Having a "get" functionality (get the current value of a channel) in the scripts editor as well as the possibility to implement if-then-else statements. This would provide numerous opportunities, one being the +5 ability requested in this thread.
