Hello everyone, this fixture has a peculiarity, to reset, turn off the lamp, turn it on, use 2 dmx channels simultaneously, that is, ch 16 at 255 and ch 8 at 036 is equivalent to lamp off, the problem is that channel 8 is used for gobo, in this definition, use channel 8 for gobo and in 16 I describe the combination for different functions, so that functions and / or buttons can be done in reset CV, lamp off / on .... I think maybe it would be interesting if the definition fixture has the possibility of containing macros or buttons that group the channel or the channels destined for reset ... something like the macros in Avolites, I do not know if I explain myself, I did not find many fixtures that do the reset macros combining several channels, just some Chinese oddities .... I thought it could be interesting a function like that. Greetings.

Andres,
I always have some 'reset all', 'kill to zero', 'fire lamp', init all' - kind of scenes and combinations in cue's or collections.
This helps me to wipe all garbage left from manually proggin'.
Especially the 'init all' scene (or sequence or collection depending on used fixtures) helps me a lot.
After some (more serious) fixtures are fired or powered, there won't be any light, the shutter will be closed and sometimes even the gobo is set to black...
So the 'init all' fires the lamp (that is f.i. control mode channel 16 to value 56 and programming channel 14 to value 33 for 5 seconds) sets the shutter to full open and give the gobo wheel #1 a value <> 0
The same has to be said if a moving head is (forgive me) f**king jumping stepper-motor steps... uggh .. then the whole plan is unsync'd anymore and the faulty head has to be (soft) reset ... that means that you have to have the codes for that handy; be sure that nothing is sent to that head during reset procedure and ... this is a real pain when live...
On one occasion I had a problem with a cable harness obstructing the swing of a head ... during offload this was fast discovered but impossible to fix due to no stage riggers. So limiting pan range was the only solution at that time....
Until I decided to apply an EFX on the pan channel of that head ... with that running it passed the limit well resulting in stepper-steps lost and unsync'd beams!!
4 gray hairs later I found the manual online, found start channel (@Massimo ... If you are reading this deep: 'Highlight'-feature please), made sure I override other channels of that fixture in simple mode and had the reset position codes set.
So since that evening I make sure to spend an extra 15-20 mins, well before the show, to have some prepared emergency actions... You Never Will Know What Happened Until It Happens...
PS: @Andres: these reset-cue's are hard written ... they are set to have gobo set to a value of 36 (star or whatever) and ch 16 to 255 (whatever is written in the definition)
PPS: ever had a obstructed (very very dirty) ventilator & overtemperature faults -> reset -> fault -> ask permission to virtually kill the device -> got a go! -> reset -> fault -> reset -> fault .... imagine the 'fun' I had that evening

Hello GGGSS !! Thanks for sharing your experience, I with qlc I prepare some flash buttons with those functions type turn off spot lamps in orchestras breaks, or some reset for some defective or problematic fixture .... but if you have many fixtures ,,, what are you doing buttons for each spot and each one with its different functions? group all the fixtures in a function button? button type to turn off all lamps? but if you only want to turn off spot 6 because it seems very hot and starts to melt ..... you would need a CV full of buttons for all the reset and functions .... ideally, I think, it would be nice when you select a fixture, just like you see the channels shutter, dimmer, gobo .... ect, leave the available options defined by the fixture .. (lamp on, lamp off, reset gobo .....) in the form of a button with your pulse time established, or something like that, 10 sec to reset ...., for that, it should come predefined in the definition of fixture, when those characteristics are included in a single channel, there is no problem, channel 16 will tell you what value to what works ... but when you use several channels (nice manufacturers) how do you know what value you have to put the channels? the 8 is described as gobo, and its described values are referring to gobo, the only solution I found was to describe on channel 16 everything necessary (for reset ch16 255 and ch8 at 128) for lamp off ch16 255 and ch 8 at 136 ....... described

no buttons in VC ... what so ever
In the cue stack a sub folder 'help'
just cue's (as a reminder) set to reset position values, fire-lamp values, kill-lamps value, etc ...
when evil arrives you need to go into simple desk and override all values (to zero) of that head and set the values for the action needed ...
LTP is bad in that context because other running functions can override

Added, thanks.
There were several errors:
- 8 channel mode completely missing
- 16 channel mode channel order was wrong
- Prisma -> Prism
- 'nf' channel for "No function"...come on !
