Hi, sorry to add more burden to this already huge engineering effort, but I would love to see an extension to the handling of "button press" inputs, to add "increment" and "decrement" to the button function. In this way, the GPIO pins on the Raspberry Pi could be used to increase and decrease a channel, rather than simply turning it full on or full off (as at present). As it's hard to add a variable input to the Pi GPIO, this would be a great way for a foot switch pedal board to be able to control a lighting rig as part of a live setup.
I see it working like this:
A single button press would increment (or decrement) the channel value by a set amount. Holding the button down would continuously increment/decrement the channel.
thanks again
Doug
