I would like to connect my external desk (Showtec) to my laptop running QLC, however I can find no mention of how to physically connect.
I have the udmx dongle which outputs well to my devices, but I really would like to connect my desk to an input.
I see the input properties for the desk etc - just the connection is holding me back.
What does this rookie need?

Is this a midi-device like Showtec SC-2412? See http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/supported-i ... vices.html
If your desk is only outputting DMX - then you'll need a DMX interface with input.
