Dear QLC+ Users,
i am just starting to use QLC+ on my Raspberry 2 controling a few fixtures I am using as a mobile DJ.
I am wondering if there is a way to host the needed Wireless Network from the Raspberry PI with a suitable WLAN Dongle?
So far I could not find an option on this via the WEB gui.
Is there any problems with doing so? I am not quite shure if this really makes sense - so I wanted to ask you about your expertise
Thanks a lot!
Kind Regards
Rapberry hosting WLAN

For any WLAN related info please use generic raspberry/raspbian/linux forums. If you want to make wlan access point from raspberry, the search term is "hostap".

Since you didn't provide a lot of detail on what you want on this Wi-Fi network, I am going to assume you just want to connect to your Pi with your laptop.
You may take a regular network cable, and connect it directly from the network port of your laptop to the network port on your Pi (thanks to Auto-MDIX), so long as you have preconfigured an IP address on your Pi that is on the same subnet and uses the same default gateway as your laptop.
