I want to be able to use the submaster with a button.
I want to select the lights and then I want to be able to change the intensity by pressing a button.
The other ligths I did not select need to be off.

Also I hope in a new update it is possible to just use the level mode for the buttons...
Using button as submaster

Hey hutje,
this is already possible using the loopback plugin: Just use the buttons as external input for the submaster slider.
For explanation refer to the documentation, tutorial videos or plenty of threads regarding loopback.

Just encountered a "glitch" with your solution...
The fader gets the right value, but sends a different value to the dmx channels...

I can reproduce this with the latest sources on Xubuntu 14.04 64Bit.
Mostly happens after page switches, but sometimes immediately after switching to operate mode, too.
One big problem could be, that the buttons for controlling the submaster slider are in the same frame as the submaster itself. Anyway, removing the buttons from the frame does not solve the issue.
Could you please try to reproduce this in a basic workspace file? I tried already, but with no luck.

I would like to do something similar. Use a button in flash mode to temporarily use it as submaster with the maximum value. I already have a slider hooked up to it so its not possible to use the external input universe for the button.
