Hi All,
I think RGB matrices aren't working correctly when in Mask Mode. Basically, the Mask seems to only apply to the functions running when the mask first starts, subsequent changes ignore the mask. This behaviour is different to the additive function which continues to apply.
I have created an example workspace to demonstrate this.
When Live :
1) Press the Blue Scene button. - In Fixture Monitor see solid blue on all fixtures.
2) Press the Red Scene button. - In Fixture Monitor see solid red on all fixtures.
3) Press the Mask button - In Fixture Monitor see the fixtures filling and unfilling with red.
4) Press the Blue scene button - In Fixture Monitor see solid blue on all fixtures. I expected to see the fixtures filling and unfilling with blue as the Mask function is still running.

Blend modes work in stacking order.
Masking is applied ON TOP of a running Function.
You should use Collections to guarantee such order.
