"QLC" supports very well the " ENTTEC DMXIS " controller.
It is not the case for " QLC + ". The East it foreseen an evolution of QLC +?
Thank you
Controller "ENTTEC DMXIS" not recognized by QLC +
Hello to you.
Which operating system are you using ?
Which version of QLC+ are you using ?

Can you try on a different machine ?
I'm afraid OSX 10.6.8 is getting a bit too old now

This old version of my MacBookPro has the merit to be very stable, and I meet no problem in particular with logic pro, also I hesitate has to change because what I read on the forums do not encourage. I believe that I am not the only one to think of it. "DMXIS" and " Buddy Show " works also very well also with my old version.
It's a pity for QL +!
Thank you very much to have answered.

Apparently the DMXIS is a FTDI based device, so it should definitely work with QLC+.
I think the issue here is a combination of Apple drivers and VCP drivers.
Please have a look at these:

OK, can anyone please provide the USB VID/PID of the DMXIS ?
It has to work, and probably there is something silly going on here
[EDIT] Nevermind. Found them. It's 0x0403 / 0x6001 like every other Enttec product, so again, it should work out of the box.
Again, which operating system are you using ? Which QLC+ version ?

Hi,
I'm using Windows 10 and I've just downloaded QLC+ 4.10.4.
My ENTTEC DMXIS is recognized but I read this message:"Precisione del Timer di Sistema: Sbagliato".
DMXIS has a led that should blink when a software is connected to the hardware. is not blinking.
Thanks a lot
Gianni

@menoventi
you can use the VST app and Ableton Live or just buy a cheap DMX interface (less than 50 €) that is well supported by QLC+

THX @maximortal,
I've tried but nothing, QLC+ continue showing message "precisione del timer del sistema: sbagliato" (wrong system time) and I can't work.
Do you know where I can download QLC (not +)? I've read it's compatible with DMXIS.
Thx again
G

QLC is here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/qlc/files/
I strongly doubt that it will work better since QLC+ is a continuation of the QLC and started with the same source code when Heikki, QLC author, lost interest in further maintenance of QLC.
The difference is almost 5 years of additional development and almost 5 thousand code changes.
Nevertheless: there is small possibility that QLC+ code contains regression and QLC code works better. In that case, we want to know about it. If you find such regression, please let us know.
"System timer precision: bad" is sign of too busy CPU/system, not a sign that the device does not work. The device may or may not work despite this warning message.

Problem almost solved:
Setting all parameters of my DMXIS to 0 (or the less possible, when not zero) with PRO MANAGER 2.35
AND
forcing DMXIS as a TX/RX in Input/outputs (different solutions possibles) in QLC+
the device is recognized and works properly, but I had two crash in two hours.
I don't understand if the problem is connected to the stranges settings (in qlc+ and in Pro manager)
I'm working with windows 10 and QLC+4.10.4
sorry for my english
