Hi,
I have to par lights which have each their own way of doing strobe so i made a script setting each of one to fast strobe. I then assigned that function to a button and set the button to toggle. The strobe works but second time i push the button it does not shut down the strobe. It keeps on running. Do i really have to make two buttons ? I mean one for on and one for off or am i missing something ?

Strobe channel uses LTP (latest takes precedence). These channels do not return back in QLC+ (at least for now).
Use two buttons in a solo frame to reset.

You can change your strobe channel on your fixture to HTP if you so desire. http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/concept.html#HTP . It can be changed per channel for a specific fixture, or a type of fixture from the Fixture Manager.
I have done this with a few of my fixtures due to the nature of the type of lighting i do. The ability to strobe a fixture with a momentary button has been beneficial.
