Hi all,
new to QLC+, hoping it might be useful for me. I am not running shows etc, instead we build scenery for theatres. We are adding a lot of LED tape to sets we build and I want simple way to test once we build. I have project at moment where I have 2Km RGB LED tape, split into nearly 400 sections, making 1200 channels. I want a way to use my ENTTEC DMX USB Pro Mk2 to send a signal to each channel in sequence to fade it up and down and then move onto next channel. It is simply to test all channels and colours are working properly after we do install.
Is there anyway to do this without spending ages setting things up, a bit of coding perhaps?

Moved to the proper forum section.
You might wanna try the RGB panel functionality.
In any case a MK2 alone cannot handle 1200 channels. Each DMX universe is 512 channels, so with 2 outputs you can reach 1024.

Here I am attaching a RGB script for you. It will go over the RGB panel, lighting one cell on each step.
Create your RGB panel in zigzag mode and this will most probably do what you want.
Perhaps if you tell us more details we can help more.
