Is there a way update a running chaser?
I'm using a Chaser with a set of infinite duration collections as a cue list.
Each collection is made up of one or more scenes, which in turn are made up of some collection of fixtures or channel groups.
I would like to be able to edit the show as I play it. Ideally, I would be able to change a currently used fixture, channel group, scene, or collection, and also change the makeup of the chaser while the show is in use. Is there any way to do this with GLC+?
You might ask why I would want to do such a thing. The answer is that the show I'm lighting is entering a week of tech rehearsals. I can't stop the rehearsals, but I do need to fix scenes as we go through them.
Thanks for any help
David

Nevermind. I just found the "Live edit a function" button and read its documentation.
I do still have an issue:
When I click the button, the "collections" option is greyed out in the filter box, which means I can never get access to them. There is nothing in the documentation I read that describes why a type of function would be greyed out in the filter setting box. Is there a setting I should adjust, or am I just out of luck there?
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
The documentation implies that Collections aren't supported for live editing. I guess that is the reason that they cannot be selected.
It is still possible to use the functions tab to edit the collection, but it just won't be live. I am not sure whether that might be useful.
Cheers
Mark
